Yangshuo's banks and post office are adept at dealing with visitors with their staff speaking some limited English

Banks

Bank Of China

The Bank of China is the only bank in Yangshuo that can change foreign cash and travellers cheques. Be prepared to fill out many forms before getting your money changed

This bank has an ATM at each branch that will accept most overseas cards for cash advances

This bank has two branches

1. On West Street next to KFC

2. On Pantao Lu, next to the indoor vegetable and meat markets

Agricultural Bank

This bank cannot change money or travellers cheques but it does have an ATM that accepts most overseas cards

The only branch is located on West Street next to the Bank of China

Construction Bank

This bank cannot change money or travellers cheques but it does have ATMs that accepts most overseas cards

This bank has a branch on Die Cui Lu about 100m from the bus station and it also has 2 ATMs on the corner of West Street, underneath Cloud 9 Restaurant

Mail

Post Office

Yangshuo has one post office which is located on Pantao Lu at the entrance to West Street

This staff at this post office are very adept at sending home the souvenirs you have just bought

One thing that is very important is that you do not pack the items yourself as the staff in the post office need to see all the items that you are sending overseas. Once these items have been cleared, the staff will package them for you (at your cost). You have the normal options of sending these items air mail or by sea/land. The staff at the post office will show you the official rates for posting items and will charge you accordingly
