Method of Travel
By Bus
Express buses run quite regularly to Guilin. They leave from the Jiangnan Bus Station on Xingguang Dadao, just south of the Nanning City.

Please note that if you are arriving in Nanning from Hanoi - you should arrive at another Bus Station called Langdong on Minzu Dadao in the East of the city.
When you arrive in Guilin you will arrive at the main bus station on Zhongshan Lu.
From this bus station you can catch an express bus to Yangshuo. Cost is 15 yuan and the bus usually leaves from Bay 10.
By Train
There are many trains that travel through Guilin. A couple of them however, go to Guilin Bei (North) train station.

Train 1338/1335 to Guilin (23:50 - 07:18) There are local buses that run from here to Yangshuo (15yuan) but they are infrequent and stop to let people on and off, all the way to Yangshuo. We recommend you come out of the train station and walk to the street (Zhongshan Lu). Turn left and walk about ten minutes to the Guilin bus station. From this bus station you can catch an express bus to Yangshuo. Cost is 15 yuan and the bus usually leaves from Bay 10. The following trains stop at Guilin Bei (North) train station.

By Flight
Guilin Lijiang International Airport is about 28 kilometres from Guilin and is served by domestic flights from many chinese cities.
As schedules change so quickly, we have not put any on this site.
When you arrive at Guilin airport, you have a couple of options regarding transfer.
1) If you are staying at the Li River Retreat, you can pre-arrange a transfer
2) You can take a taxi to the Guilin bus station and then an express bus to Yangshuo. Cost is 15 yuan and the bus usually leaves from Bay 10
3) You can take a taxi to Yangshuo. Very expensive as you have to haggle with the taxi driver.
4) You can take the CAAC bus (06:30 to 20:00 - 20yuan) into Guilin. A short (10yuan) to the bus station from where the CAAC bus stops and an express bus to Yangshuo. Cost is 15 yuan and the bus usually leaves from Bay 10
